REMOVING AND INSTALLING
STEERING GUIDE ARM
Remove heat shield.
Bend open cap (1).
Remove cotter pin and unscrew castle nut.
Press tie rod off of steering guide arm with Special Tool 32 2 050.
Installation:
Replace cap (1).
Check rubber joint, replacing if necessary.
Tightening torque*.
Lock castle nut with a cotter pin.

Unscrew nut (1).
Remove bolt and steering guide arm.
Installation:
Coat face surface (4) with lubricating oil II,
relaxed water or diluted Cresta.
Replace self-locking nut (1).
Tightening torque*.
